As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise at an alarming rate, Donald Trump continues to put more people at risk by having a large gathering despite being in a deadly pandemic.
The problem is Trump doesn’t wear a mask and does not require the attendees to wear them either, it is optional. A confusing display of leadership by a President as the numbers of newly infected Americans climb.
And now it is being reported that Kimberly Guilfoyle has tested positive for COVID-19. Who is Kimberly Guilfoyle, and why is it important to know that she has coronavirus? Besides being one of the numerous people reported to have the deadly strain of coronavirus, Guilfoyle has been to the attended the rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma where almost seven thousand people were in attendance on June 20, 2020.
Kimberly Guilfoyle is a campaign official and has been active in Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign. And if that wasn’t bad enough, six people that were involved in planning that very same rally also tested positive. Guilfoyle is also the grilfriend of the President’s son, Donald Trump Jr. Here is a video about this:

The administration has said Guilfoyle has not had contact with the President and so far the President has not been reported as positive for COVID-19. It has been reported also that Donald Trump Jr. is not positive despite him being in direct contact with Guilfoyle.
So that leads me back to the question, why? Is it necessary to have these gatherings in the middle of a pandemic?
Friday, July 3, 2020 Trump appeared in front of a crowd at Mt. Rushmore to speak about the American “heroes” and the supposed erasing of history by the removal of confederate statues.
I personally do not think President Trump should be having these large gatherings because they are not necessary. Also, people that are a part of his inner circle are starting to become infected with COVID-19 yet he still does not make it mandatory that you social distance or wear masks at these events.
