Have a Moment for the Goddess; Remembering Female Rapper, Lexii Alijai

Ever heard of the legendary Roger Troutman? Well the apple doesn’t fall from the talented tree. His granddaughter was the talented Lexxi Alijai. Ever heard of her? Its okay that you never heard of hear, but she had a a base. Music ran in her DNA, because her father was an music artist as well.

She started get attention for her raps over popular Hip-hop beats. Here are two music videos

She had a following in her hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota. She dropped out of school and then dropped a mix tape at 16 years old called, “Super Sweet 16s”, on February 19, 2014. This was important because February 19 was her birthday. Fox news reported:

Before she could get celebrity status her life ended. She died on January 1, 2020 of an accidental death in a hotel in Minneapolis at the age of twenty one. The medical examiner confirmed in a press release “This individual died due to mixed fentanyl and ethanol toxicity,” obtained by Fox News.

Rest in love, Lexii Alijai, you will be missed.
