Picnics are great events to have in the summer. Picnics are always occurring in the summer and they usually include family, friends, food and lots of wholesome fun. Who doesn’t love a good summer picnic?

But what if you want to have a little romance at your picnic? Well if you are interested in a different type of picnic, one where you and your significant other can get closer than close? Why not host a sexy picnic?

The Location

First things first, I understand a picnic is usually held outside but this suppose to be sexy, so that being said, the location of this picnic  can be held outdoors but it does not have to be, especially if you feel that it would put you in such a mood that you want to be more intimate.

Choose your location wisely. You can be at a picnic table at a park. You can lay a blanket in your backyard. You can even lay a blanket on your floor, and have your sexy picnic in your bedroom. It’s all up to you.

The Host

As the host, you need to take control and run this intimate event. Planning is the key. Pick a stellar location. Make sure your attendee know what to expect. If it is just a picnic where you are to just get to know each other, let that be known. If you expect more to happen, in a way you are comfortable, let that be known as well. The reason for this is when you say” sexy picnic” your attendee might assume you will engage in sexual activity at this event and if you want that to occur or not is up to you. Be sure to communicate the expectations ahead of time.

Wardrobe for the Host

It’s a sexy picnic, and depending on location? Make sure you go sexy. Women, don’t be afraid to tastefully show cleavage or leg. Here is your time to wear your summer dress that you have been waiting to wear. Men, depending on location you may want to wear a fitting tank top.

Sexy means different things to different people. The point is to feel sexy, and only you know what that means to you.

Remember your hosting duties

As the host, it is up to you to pick the attendee, the location, the menu and the activities. That doesn’t mean you have to control everything. Remember great planning is just that, planning. It’s the follow through that will be what makes the day. It is your event, so, at the event that you put all this effort into, keep a positive attitude, and see if your hard work pays off.

The Attendee

As a host, you need to pick who will be your attendee. Keep in mind it is a sexy picnic so it inappropriate to have just anybody there. The attendee should be someone who will engage in the romance. Meaning the attendee should be your boo.

Wardrobe for the Attendee

It’s a sexy picnic, and depending on location? Make sure you let the attendee know where the picnic will take place and what may be appropriate attire for the event. For example if the picnic will be held outdoors you want the attendee to know so they can plan their clothing.

The Menu

It wouldn’t be a good picnic if you didn’t have good food. But, you cannot just serve anything because remember you are suppose to be keeping it sexy. First thing that comes to your mind, may be to serve such staples as pickles or chocolate covered strawberries, and that is fine. Just in case you need a menu I have a few ideas of what you can serve at a sexy picnic.

Super Delicious Iced Tea

While a sexy picnic can occur at anytime of the year, this post is about a sexy picnic. Every good picnic should have refreshments. Depending on the location you pick and the time of the year, you may need to have something refreshing drink to quench you thirst and there is nothing more versatile than iced tea. There are many variations to ice tea. Some have fruit added or spices for a tangy flavor. So let me give you a recipe for a super delicious ice tea and leave you to your own devices.

Ingredients

Be as versatile as you want. To dress up your ice tea, add some have fruit added or spices for a tangy flavor. So let me give you a recipe for a super delicious ice tea and leave you to your own devices.

A Killer Chicken Salad ( with Dill)

If the weather is warm, you may want to serve a cooler meal to your attendee. How about a killer chicken salad? You could spread it on crackers, or toast and feed it to each other. Now that’s sexy!

Ingredients

2.5 ounces of chicken breast

1/8 ounces of fresh dill

¾ ounce of black olives

Half teaspoon of shallot

1/8 cup of mayonnaise

A pinch of red pepper flakes

Salt/pepper/season to taste

* play with the ingredients. For example, if you don’t care for much mayonnaise? Adjust the amount you add. All the ingredients can be adjusted, so if you only want a little shallot added, only add a little shallot.

Directions:

First, you need the chicken for the salad. You can use canned chicken. Wal-Mart’s Great Value Brand is a great one to use. If you are limiting processed food, feel free to boil chicken in chicken broth until tender then shred it with a fork.In a bowl mix all the ingredients except salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Add these only after mixing the first ingredients. The reason for this is that is these things add the seasoning for the chicken salad. These things you will add according to are to your taste buds. It’s the red pepper flakes that give the salad its kick! So make it as spicy as you like.

Drunken Melon Balls or Spiked Fruit Salad

Fresh fruit is an item that is frequently served at a traditional picnic, so feel free to serve it at yours, but if you want to kick it up a notch add in some alcohol into the mix to make this sexy picnic grown up event. How do you achieve that? Mix your fruit with alcohol.

Just in case you don’t have a melon ball? You can cut up your favorite in season fruit and then add a little Limo cello liqueur or Brandy to it. But if you do have a melon ball scooper here is a video that can help you create a fruity treat for your attendee. I found this:

Tip:

You may want to get closer to your boo at this sexy picnic. Make sure your mouth is fresh after your romantic meal. If you fear that your breath may not be fresh after eating your picnic fare, pop a mint that may kill the odors from food.
